How José Henrique Borghi Has Taken the Brazilian Advertising Market by a Storm

Since he was young, José Henrique Borghi didn’t know which career to take. When he was in junior high school, he was invited by his sister to the Castro Neves Theatre to watch a performance. The show was headlined by a display of commercials that won Cannes Awards. José Henrique Borghi knew then and there which career he would choose.

José Henrique Borghi was born in a small town of Presidente Prudente in Sao Paulo. He attended the PUC-Campinas where he graduated with a degree in Marketing Advertising. He got his first job in 1989 working with Standart Ogilvy Agency.

He, later on, left and started agency BrighiErh, with his friend Erh Ray. They didn’t have any finance or client base, but they managed to turn the fortunes around. Due to the success of the ad agency, it was bought by Lowe and changed its name to Borghi Lowe in 2006.

More changes followed as it merged with Lowe & Partners and the Mullen Group to be known as the Mullen Lowe José Henrique Borghi is the co-CEO.

José Henrique Borghi has won numerous awards including the Cannes Lions and has worked with many international brands.
