The Kabbalah Center and the Jewish teachings

After the famous singer, Madonna had become interested in the Jewish mysticism, numerous other Hollywood stars then have shown interest in the Jewish Kabbalah. Madonna has even opened more than one Kabbalah centers. She has also heavily invested in the study of ancient Jewish tradition. This brings about the question why most of these celebrities have become fascinated with the Jewish Mysticism such that they routinely practice it, or some even choose to convert to Judaism. There are various reasons for this. Some say that it gets rid of about 80% in life and others that it helps them deal with their lives. The Kabbalah Center Website claims that Kabbalah an ancient wisdom that can provide tools that are practical to create lasting fulfillment and joy. It is a system that is sure to change how one views the world.

Not all the celebrities have adopted tradition so that they deal with their issues. Some of them go for it as they want to be part of some history and hold on to something that is not materialistic. They are looking for something that can provide for them some inner strength. Some choose to become Jews as the culture holds some spiritual peace that lacks in the personal makeup of most of them.

The Kabbalah Centre was established in the year 1922. Rav Yehudah Ashlag began the organization. It is now the largest international organization that has the primary aim of disseminating the Kabbalah wisdom. He was the first to modernize this wisdom that was so carefully guarded. He strived to make it accessible. He then passed the mantle of leadership to his student, Rav Yehuda Tzvi Brandwein, and he then passed the torch to Rav Berg in 1969. He is still the current Director of the institution with his wife, Karen, and their two sons, Michael and Yehuda. This is where the Kabbalah Center stems from in the following: http://californiablog.org/content/las-kabbalah-centre-will-guide-your-path-wisdom-and-truth click here.

The Kabbalah Center bases its teachings on the Zohar. The Zohar is the foundation of the sacred text of the Kabbalistic wisdom. It decodes the mysteries and those universal spiritual systems that are described in the Torah. The Kabbalah Centre is a community that provides the students with an environment where they can grow spiritually.

Accessing the Gifts of the Sabbath at the Kabbalah Centre

Each week, people spent time doing lots of things that may feel quite rushed. People get up the morning, fuss with their kids and then run out the door. They do not always have the time to spend time thinking about important spiritual matters. This is why so many people in the world have chosen to spend at least one day each week thinking about something else besides their busy lives. Taking the time to refresh and reconnect with the needs of the soul is an important task. Those at the Kabbalah Centre know just how much it makes sense to take time out each week during the Sabbath in order to let go of the cares of the week and find a time to relax and stop being so busy and so full of worry. Their aim is to help each person who studies with them discover just much they can learn from a single day of quiet in their lives. The Sabbath is not just a chance to do nothing.

A Spiritual Time

During the Sabbath, those at the Kabbalah Centre teach their students to learn to look inside of themselves in order to find a sense of peace that might be otherwise lacking. They know that a day that is devoted to love, prayer and looking after the soul is one that allows people to time to reconnect with all that is around them. Time that is spent in prayer is time that they know they is devoted to god and time that is about being with the soul. The soul needs some time to rest just as much as other parts of the body. When the soul has the opportunity to be allowed to recharge, the soul can have time to grow just as surely as the body does. Each Sabbath they teach all of their students to learn what it is that they can do once a week in order to honor their soul inside and watch as it grows ever stronger at all times. With help from the Kabbalah Center, the soul can grow.
